Coleslaw

During school days in the gulf, we used to get this side dish with KFC and Pizza a lot. Could successfully recreate this wonderful dish from memory, and here is the recipe for that ๐Ÿ˜‹

Ingredients:

White Cabbage- 2 Cups
Red cabbage- 1/4 cup 
Carrot -1/2 cup
Onion - small
Mayonaise- 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 tsp
Vinegar- 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice- 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Pepper powder - 1 tsp


Directions:

  • Shred the onion, cabbage, and carrots.
  • Add a bowl, along with the other ingredients. 
  • Mix all together and keep in the refrigerator for half an hour and serve.

Tips:

  • Adding the red cabbage is optional, but it adds some color to the dish.
  • You can decrease or increase the mayonnaise, according to how you like it. Alternatively, you can add half of the mayo and half yogurt or more of mayo and little of yogurt, if you're health-conscious.
  • You can either add vinegar or lime juice, no need to add both.
