Cheesecake Without Cheese (Cheat Version)

I am a big fan of cheesecakes. I have tried different versions, until I came across this cheat recipe, through one of my friends. I must tell you I have never gone back to the original recipe ever since. This is so easy, and you can whip this up in just 5 mins. So if you are here for the original recipe, sorry this post is not for you.😁

Ingredients:

Yogurt - 400gms
Sweet Condensed Milk - 400gms
Biscuits - 1-2 packets
Butter - 1-2 tbs
Topping- 1/2 cup (Optional)

Directions:

  • Crumble the biscuits in a food processor or by hand and transfer to a bowl.
  • Melt the butter and pour on the biscuit crumbs and mix till texture is like wet sand
  • In another bowl, pour the yogurt and condensed milk and mix together.
  • Take a microwave-safe dish, pour the biscuit mix and layer evenly with a spoon or underside of a glass.
  • Carefully pour the yogurt mix over the biscuit base.
  • Microwave it for 2-5 mins, till it sets.
  • Refrigerate for 2-3 hrs and serve.
Tips:
  • You can increase or decrease the quantity, but the proportion of yogurt and condensed milk should be equal.
  • Any biscuit can be used, but I prefer digestive biscuits, especially the digestive oatmeal biscuit.
  • The heat setting on all microwaves are different, so keep checking till the top layer is set, we don't want to overdo it.
  • Having the cheesecake without topping itself is delicious, but you can add any blueberry, strawberry filling, flavored syrups, juice crush. Here I didn't have any of these toppings, so I took some strawberry jam which I had on hand, mix 1 tbs of water, microwaved it for 1 min to form a syrup consistency, and poured it over the cheesecake.
