Tasty Chocochips cookies (Eggless)

Finally, my search for the best choco-chip cookie recipe is over! If you've ever been to the Arabian Gulf region and tasted the classic Danish butter cookies, you're in for a delightful surprise with this one!

Ingredients:

  • Butter: 1 cup (at room temperature)
  • Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Caster Sugar (powdered): 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Essence: 1/2 tsp
  • All-Purpose Flour (Maida): 2 1/4 cups
  • Cornflour: 1 tbsp
  • Baking Soda: 1 tsp
  • Milk: 3-4 tbsp
  • Choco Chips (or chopped chocolate chunks): 1 cup (or more, as desired)

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, vanilla essence, and both sugars until soft and fluffy.
    • Add the all-purpose flour, cornflour, and baking soda. Mix well until everything is combined.
    • Gradually add milk and mix until a dough forms.
    • Stir in the choco chips or chocolate chunks.
  2. Baking:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and drop spoonfuls of dough onto the tray.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, depending on your desired texture.
    • Once baked let it cool down in room temperature.

Tips:

  • The dough should be neither too stiff nor too loose.
  • For chewy cookies with a crunchy exterior, bake for slightly less time.
  • For crunchy cookies, bake a bit longer or adjust according to your oven's temperature.

Enjoy your homemade choco-chip cookies!
