Best Homemade Pizza from scratch

Ok, I have been making this pizza for a few years now, and finally have perfected a Pizza Hut's Pizza, well at least I think I did. My family loves them and claims it as the best pizza in the world. And now it's a dedicated pizza night here on almost all Fridays.

Ingredients: (Serves 3 thin crust large pizzas)

Maida (All purpose flour)- 4 cups
Salt- 1 tsp
Active dried yeast - 1 tbs
Sugar - 1 tsp
Water - 1-2 cups
Oil - 1 tbs
Toppings:
Veggies (according to your likes and choice)- sliced onions, sliced capsicum, sliced tomato, sweet corn, sliced olives
Non-veg- (according to your likes and choice) - chicken salami, sausages, chopped ham, nuggets, pepperoni
Mozerella cheese (grated) - 500 gms
Pizza sauce-1 tbs
Oregano/pizza seasoning - 1 tbs

Directions:

  • In a cup or small bowl add lukewarm water, sugar, yeast, and stir. Wait for the yeast to ferment.
  • In another big bowl, add the flour, salt, and slowly add water little by little mix till it forms a dough.
  • Add 1tsp oil and smear over the dough along with the inside of the bowl and keep it closed in a warm place for rising for 30 mins - 2 hours.
  • Before making pizzas take the dough and knead again and divide into portions according to the number of pizzas your making and flatten it out round, one at a time to make each pizza.
  • Layer the top with any pizza sauce of your choice, then add the vegetables and toppings of your choice, sprinkle the oregano, and then top layer with mozzarella cheese/pizza cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven/convection for 230 degrees Celcius for 12-15 mins or depending on your oven heat settings.
